Merino wool comes from a special breed of sheep - Australian merino, which, despite its name, is bred in New Zealand. Merino wool is an extremely valuable raw material, and its advantages are appreciated by lovers of high-mountain expeditions and winter sports. Why? Merino wool is thermoregulatory, which means that it retains heat well on cold days, and in summer, it dissipates heat to the outside, so it does not cause overheating.

In addition, it has a good warmth-to-weight ratio - its fibers provide warmth regardless of thickness, making the hat light to wear while ensuring maximum thermal comfort.

Merino wool is delicate and hypoallergenic - it does not cause skin irritation or allergic reactions.

Another extraordinary advantage is the ability to absorb moisture and wick it away, thanks to which the skin remains dry, even when the hat is damp.

To increase the durability of wool as well as the comfort of wearing our hats, we add polyamide to the composition, which significantly strengthens the wool while making it more flexible.
